Where every number on SahiSeat actually comes from

Most college-predictor sites market “verified data” while their own fine print admits they can't guarantee accuracy. We'd rather just show the sourcing directly. Every closing rank or score on SahiSeat traces back to one of three official counselling bodies — here's exactly which one, how current it is, and what “verified” specifically means on this site.

What “verified” means here

Verified = manually cross-checked line-by-line against the official round-result PDF. Not yet verified does not mean invented or estimated — it means the row was extracted from a real official source but hasn't had that manual PDF cross-check yet. Every row carries the source URL it came from; nothing on this site is hand-guessed or backfilled to look complete.

JEE · JoSAA

42,649 verified (100%)
122 institutes covered
42,649 rows total
2026, Rounds 1 & 5 (latest) · 2025, Rounds 1 & 6

Scraped directly from JoSAA's own official opening/closing-rank portal — the same ASP.NET pages counsellors themselves use, not a third-party mirror. 2026 was pulled on 6 September 2026 after the Round 5 result; the 16 institutes JoSAA added in 2026 that are not yet in our college table (NIELIT centres, IIITDM Kurnool, IISc, NITTTR Bhopal) are excluded rather than guessed.

NEET · MCC

2,231 verified (99%)
599 colleges covered
2,248 rows total
2025, Round 3 + Special Stray (final)

Pulled from MCC's published round-result documents (All-India Quota + deemed/private + state quota), including the final Special Stray round allotment list — individual candidate allotments grouped into per-college closing ranks, the same way JEE's final round is derived. Rounds 1 and 2 aren't sourced yet.

CUET · DU-CSAS

15,230 verified (2026, parsed from DU's official PDFs) · 6,466 pending cross-check (2024)
67 colleges (University of Delhi) covered
21,696 rows total
2026, CSAS Rounds 1, 2, 3 & Spot (latest) · 2024, CSAS allocation

2026 minimum allocation scores are parsed straight from Delhi University's published round-wise PDFs (UR, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS; supernumerary categories omitted). 2024 rows come from DU's CSAS admission records and are marked unverified only because they haven't been cross-checked line-by-line against the PDF, not because the numbers are guesses.

What's still in progress

NEET now has Round 3 and the final Special Stray round's closing ranks — Round 1 and 2 aren't sourced yet, so a rank comfortably inside an early round can still look tighter here than it actually was. CUET is University of Delhi only today; every other CUET-participating university runs its own separate admission process (see the full list) and isn't covered here yet.

Closing figures are previous-round, official-source data shown as indicative guidance — not an admission guarantee. The official JoSAA / MCC / CSAS document for your exact category, quota and round is always the final word. Run the predictor →
